Discover Mystery

Known as the traveler’s stone, a moonstone is a guide and protector in the night and on the road. It is known to aid in self discovery and offers a soothing energy, especially when kept close. Like the moon, it reflects light and offers stages of brilliance. When we are in need of turning inward, a moonstone can bring calm and balance and encourage us to see that which is hidden from us. I design travel experiences for people looking to uncover mysteries within themselves and our world.

Sometimes, we know we need a vacation, but we’re not sure where, what, or even how to make it happen! Whether you need to reconnect with your partner, be inspired by learning something new, or just relax and have fun, I’m here to listen deeply to your thoughts and provide the insight you need. With years of experience researching and enjoying travel, I can offer you a range of possibilities for a curated itinerary drawn from your own inspirations. Whether you’re starting from scratch, or already have a vision in mind, I’ve got your back and will reflect your wishes in a journey tailored to you.

Travel is an invitation and opportunity to be present. We can create journeys that are in line with our best selves and feel what it’s like to truly connect and grow. And like in sports or religion, where we can take what we learn in practice and prayer and use it in our daily lives, we can travel with the same intentions to learn, grow, and scatter light wherever we go - revealing a mystery - all while making memories.

Hi! I’m Jody Richards, an active mom, adventure traveler, and collector of precious moments. In my early years of traveling, my adventures included solo backpacking parts of the Pacific Crest and Appalachian Trails. I didn’t have itineraries; the days were whimsical, and I connected deeply with nature, the local towns and people, and myself. Today, my passion for pursuing meaningful connections and authentic experiences hasn’t wavered, but my desire for a bit more structure as I now travel with my growing son has! It has also become more difficult for me to carry pounds of gear on my shoulders while exploring the countryside or towns. Options like inn to inn hikes or cruises help us manage the weight of baggage and the unknown, while maintaining the freedom of connecting with our travel experience.

As homeschoolers, we learned that everywhere we go there is learning, and I carry this principle into my process of designing travel experiences for my clients. It is a joy to see the connections that can be made when we open one small door to our country or the world.
